📋 Description

• Serve as a liaison between the organization’s internal and external clients • Oversee and participate directly in the loan process from start to finish • Communicate with borrowers about loan programs, costs, and applicable loan documents • Review and audit income, assets, DU findings, and credit documentation within mortgage files • Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to borrowers • Assist in managing a pipeline of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203k, Jumbo, and reverse mortgage loans • Structure loans to present the best program based on borrowers’ financial circumstances • Review files for missing documentation supporting approval • Communicate loan programs and costs with borrowers • Pre-underwrite items including paystubs, credit reports, W-2s, bank statements, and court orders • Input disclosure feeds and set up loans to fit borrowers’ needs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education/experience • 3–5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience • Experience with Encompass LOS, preferred • Prior underwriting experience, a plus • Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and all mortgage and consumer regulations • Excellent math and analytics skills • Excellent communication skills • Excellent prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines • Proficiency in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows • License required to communicate loan programs and costs with borrowers
