📋 Description

• Recruit, hire, train, and lead a sales team to achieve district and territory sales goals • Develop unique skills, product knowledge, and integrated territory business plans with a cross-functional district sales team • Identify high performers for continued development and low performers for performance improvement actions, up to and including termination • Build and nurture relationships with regional diabetes centers, healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, diabetes organizations, pharmacy organizations, and durable medical equipment providers • Lead sales approaches to targeted and non-targeted customers across medical equipment, retail pharmacy, healthcare, advocacy, and administrative organizations • Manage district sales team expenses and administrative requirements • Provide management with timely sales performance and KPI data for four sales team job functions • Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional partners including Trade, Market Access, Marketing, Operations, Training, Government Affairs, Pharmacies, and Durable Medical Equipment providers • Ensure the district sales team conforms to company quality, compliance, and sales training standards

🎯 Requirements

• Significant leadership and management skills/training of a district sales team • Valid state driver’s license, automobile insurance, and satisfactory driving record as determined by company policy • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evening work • Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years of industry experience • 2–5 years of previous management or lead experience • Diabetes disease state knowledge is a plus • Ability to travel 50–75%
