📋 Description

• Contribute to the research, development, and deployment of machine learning models powering cost attribution and cloud efficiency • Analyze large-scale cloud usage and financial datasets • Build and evaluate machine learning models • Collaboratively define and build solutions to attribute cloud costs and resource consumption to teams and products • Translate business requirements into modeling problems related to cost allocation, forecasting, and anomaly detection • Design, run, and evaluate experiments validating model accuracy • Partner with engineering teams to productionize models and monitor performance and accuracy • Share new techniques and research with the team • Report regularly on assigned project status

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience developing, training, and evaluating machine learning models applied to structured business or financial data • Proficiency in Python and common ML libraries/frameworks, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn • Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed data processing tools, including Spark or Pandas at scale • Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and experimental design • Familiarity with feature engineering and model evaluation techniques, including precision/recall, RMSE, and cross-validation • Familiarity with SQL and querying relational databases • Experience writing clean, well-tested, and reproducible code • Strong focus on data accuracy and integrity with financial and cost datasets • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups as part of a worldwide team • Experience with cloud cost/billing data or FinOps practices • Understanding of MLOps concepts and tools, including model versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD for ML • Exposure to big data or streaming platforms, including Kafka or Spark Streaming • Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure for training and deploying models • Experience with resource tagging, cost allocation frameworks, or chargeback/showback systems • Exposure to time-series forecasting techniques • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes
