📋 Description

• Engineer and maintain solutions for virtualization environments • Administer open-source virtualization and VMware environments supporting thousands of virtual machines • Perform Linux engineering and administration • Monitor, maintain, and operate a production environment • Troubleshoot server hardware issues • Automate common tasks and deploy with an IaaS model using Chef or similar tools • Participate in an on-call rotation with other team members • Apply public cloud and cloud administration concepts • Write simple to moderately complex scripts and programs for automation, tools, frameworks, dashboards, and alarms using technologies such as Python, Perl, PHP, JavaScript, or Go

🎯 Requirements

• US Citizenship or Green Card Holder • 3+ years of experience working in a large scale production environment • OpenStack experience • Ansible experience • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in Computer related field • Occasional business related travel for group meetings • Must work effectively and professionally with cross-functional groups across divisions, worldwide, as part of a team • Must be able to work with a distributed team in multiple time zones • Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and have the ability to make good, timely decisions • Demonstrate self-learning capabilities working in a fast pace/quickly changing environment • Chef, Python, Go, etc. experience a plus • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes
