📋 Description

• Provide engineering support and solutions to a data science group focused on high-throughput, low-latency LLM inferencing • Support LLM post-training and data engineering aligned to rigorous evaluations • Innovate with state-of-the-art machine learning technology to accelerate data science • Support fast-moving research and development teams • Implement high-quality solutions for customer-facing applications at scale • Provide in-depth analysis to identify potential vulnerabilities or gaps • Construct and maintain data pipelines • Contribute to training and implementation of custom models • Collaborate across teams to brainstorm, define, and devise solutions • Adhere to coding best practices, rigorous testing, logging, and metrics • Work within a collaborative and agile team environment • Mentor fellow engineers and learn across technologies • Refine product architecture, knowledge models, user experience, performance, and reliability • Own work end to end by developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring changes • Enhance support by staying attuned to customer challenges

🎯 Requirements

• Prior work experience doing data engineering and architecture in support of advanced data science use cases • Deep understanding of LLM post-training methods and computational architectures • Understanding of scalability and distributed systems, including sharding, partitioning, and concurrency • Thorough understanding of engineering best practices, testing paradigms, peer code reviews, and resilient architecture • Ability to thrive in a test-driven, collaborative, and iterative programming environment • Ability to produce high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes • Robust learning capacity • Experience with high-level coding languages such as JVM technologies or Python • Experience with Docker • Experience with Kubernetes • Experience with AWS, GCP, or MaaS • Experience with Kafka, Cassandra, and Spark • Experience with Elasticsearch • Experience with Terraform, Chef, or Ansible • Experience scaling inference across GPUs or GPU clusters • Existing, demonstrable applied work in scalable architectures for LLM post-training or fine-tuning is a bonus • Prior experience in cybersecurity or intelligence fields is a bonus
