📋 Description

• Provide engineering support and solutions to a data science group focused on high-throughput, low-latency LLM inferencing • Support LLM post-training and data engineering aligned to rigorous evaluations • Innovate with state-of-the-art machine learning technology to accelerate data science • Support fast-moving research and development teams • Implement high-quality solutions for customer-facing applications at scale • Analyze potential vulnerabilities or gaps • Construct and maintain data pipelines • Contribute to training and implementation of custom models • Collaborate across teams to define and devise solutions • Apply best practices for coding quality, testing, logging, and metrics • Refine product architecture, knowledge models, user experience, performance, and reliability • Develop, test, deploy, and monitor changes end to end • Mentor fellow engineers and learn from teammates • Support CrowdStrike's mission of enabling enterprise users to interact safely and securely with AI applications

🎯 Requirements

• Prior work experience in data engineering and architecture supporting advanced data science use cases • Deep understanding of LLM post-training methods and computational architectures • Understanding of scalability and distributed systems, including sharding, partitioning, and concurrency • Thorough understanding of engineering best practices, testing paradigms, peer code reviews, and resilient architecture • Ability to thrive in a test-driven, collaborative, and iterative programming environment • Ability to deliver high-quality, unit-tested, code-reviewed software checked in regularly for continuous integration • Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes • Strong interest in CrowdStrike's cybersecurity mission and willingness to engage with product teams and customers • Robust learning capacity • Experience with a high-level coding language such as JVM technologies or Python • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with AWS, GCP, or MaaS • Experience with Kafka, Cassandra, and Spark • Experience with Elasticsearch • Experience with Terraform, Chef, or Ansible • Experience scaling inference across GPUs or GPU clusters • Bonus: Demonstrable applied work in scalable architectures for LLM post-training or fine-tuning • Bonus: Prior experience in cybersecurity or intelligence fields
