📋 Description

• Complete technical collections projects, including acquisition, monitoring, and analysis of deep and dark web data • Design and implement AI-powered automation systems, custom Claude Code skills, MCP servers, agent workflows, and harnesses • Maintain collection reliability across high-volume internet sources • Respond to site structure changes, authentication failures, anti-bot protections, customer-impacting collection gaps, and data quality issues • Build, deploy, and maintain collection services, worker processes, data pipelines, and APIs in Docker and cloud environments • Conduct proactive research into underground cybercriminal economies and emerging technology exploitation • Employ secure operational tradecraft methods and practices • Collaborate with stakeholders across CrowdStrike’s global Counter Adversary Operations team

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python • Experience developing data extraction, web scraping, and database-interaction tools • Experience building AI-powered automations, custom skills, plugins, or agent harnesses integrating LLMs with production infrastructure • Ability to design deterministic workflows for data collection orchestration, failure detection, and automated remediation • Experience designing, implementing, and interacting with RESTful and other APIs • Experience building, deploying, and maintaining Docker tools and services • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative software development • Experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes • Experience designing and leading data-driven investigations and visualizing results • Ability to navigate and prepare large, unstructured datasets for analysis and use statistical methods • Familiarity with online threat landscapes, including social media, underground forums, and ransomware/DLS ecosystems • Knowledge of research collection tradecraft and OPSEC principles • Ability to work remotely in collaborative teams across time zones • Customer service orientation and experience managing stakeholder expectations during high-pressure incidents • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, data science, intelligence studies, or a related field • Additional language expertise, intelligence community or cyber threat intelligence background, security or academic community engagement, and open-source software development are bonuses
