• Develop resource mobilization strategies aligned with CRS’ agency strategy for global opportunities • Cultivate donor relationships and develop donor engagement strategies • Support resource mobilization planning for global opportunities • Collaborate with regional, country, technical, and operations teams on positioning, capture planning, proposal coordination, writing, budgeting, and donor compliance • Research and analyze funding trends and new business opportunities • Leverage data to strengthen CRS’ competitive position • Manage past performance and corporate capacity information • Maintain global business pipeline and performance data in CRS online systems • Represent CRS at industry conferences and working groups • Lead agency BD strategy development and opportunity pipeline management • Serve as proposal coordinator, lead writer, or budget lead for priority bids • Participate in the BD Strategy and Action Room and global pipeline reviews • Guide Go/No-Go decisions through capture and proposal preparation • Guide partner identification, consortia negotiations, and teaming agreement reviews • Lead proposal review panels and consolidate feedback • Lead due diligence reviews and ensure alignment with donor strategies and intelligence • Advance CRS’ BD processes, share best practices, build staff capacity, and contribute to the Global BD Community of Practice
• Bachelor’s Degree in International Development, International Relations, or other relevant field • Minimum of 10 years of international development experience • Strong budgeting skills and experience leading strategic and competitive cost proposals highly desirable • Exceptional writing skills and demonstrated experience writing winning proposals • Strong strategic, analytical, systems thinking, and problem-solving skills • Strong relationship management abilities • Familiarity with institutional donors, including US Government agencies, FDCO, Global Fund, EU, UN, foundations, and corporations, and their regulations, policies, procedures, and priorities • Comprehensive familiarity with donor technical and cost requirements • Excellent negotiation skills • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Knowledge of CRS programs, justice agenda, and Catholic Social Teaching principles • Experience using MS Windows, MS Office, information management systems, and AI tools • Fluency in English required • Working ability in French and/or Spanish highly desirable • Must be willing and able to travel up to 35% • Ability to legally work where the position is performed • Successful candidates must sign and adhere to CRS’ Code of Conduct
