📋 Description

• Support development and implementation of agency-wide supply chain strategies, standards, tools, and best practices • Provide supply chain input to proposal development, including SCM Plans, Commodity Calculators, Procurement Plans, and other proposal inputs • Contribute to digital supply chain solutions improving speed, accountability, and integrity • Represent CRS at regional planning and coordination meetings and forums when required • Build relationships with donors, peer organizations, and other stakeholders • Support country programs through deployments as Acting Supply Chain Manager, Acting Operations Manager, or similar roles • Support vacancies, new project start-ups, and emergency response activities • Collaborate with country operations and programming leads to implement and strengthen logistics, procurement, warehousing, and fleet-management systems • Ensure effective use of ERP systems such as Oracle for planning, execution, and reporting • Promote supply chain metrics and KPIs for continuous improvement, decision-making, and accountability • Contribute to knowledge management, learning, capacity strengthening, workshops, conferences, and staff mentoring • Support countries in addressing audit findings and implementing corrective actions • Promote compliance with donor regulations, CRS policies, and international standards • Report to the GSCM Director

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in international supply chain, logistics, or procurement • Experience with ERP systems; Oracle preferred • Proficiency in MS Office packages and information management systems • Strong knowledge of general procurement and trading policies and regulations, international import/export legislation, and customs regulations • Understanding of Generally Accepted Commodity Accountability Principles (GACAP) • Technical expertise in warehouse operations and inventory control, including FIFO/FEFO, cycle counting, stock reconciliation, root-cause analysis, ABC analysis, batch/lot and expiry management, warehouse layout and space utilization, and loss/shrinkage prevention • Experience in mentoring, coaching, facilitation, and training using adult learning principles and practices • Strong relationship management skills and ability to influence people not under direct supervision • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including Outlook and Teams • Strategic, analytical, organizational, and systems thinking skills • Fluency in English required • Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% • Must be legally able to work where the position is performed • Expatriate or roles requiring residence/frequent travel outside a home country require pre-employment medical clearance • Preferred: Master’s degree; professional certifications such as CIPS or APICS; experience managing Global Fund, USG food aid, or other large-scale donor programs • Arabic fluency strongly preferred; French or Spanish desirable
