📋 Description

• Work with Technology management, customers, and support teams to lead the design, development, and execution of technical solutions • Design infrastructure architecture and systems • Research and develop new or expanded systems • Create technology standards and policies • Analyze user requirements and operational constraints • Perform unit testing, system integration, and user acceptance testing • Interact with business partners to clarify problems or opportunities and elicit business requirements • Estimate effort for complex, moderate- to large-scale projects • Coordinate vendor interactions and manage contract/vendor resources • Mentor and coach less experienced engineers, technicians, and integrators • Review documentation, proposals, and changes from less experienced staff • Maintain knowledge of Financial Services trends, practices, technologies, vendor products, services, and updates • Follow and promote industry best practices, standards, and procedures • Maintain expert technical aptitude and knowledge of supported applications, development environments, and client environments • Assist with expense and capital budgets • Adhere to company risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls; escalate risk issues • Promote diversity and the Bank brand • Maintain internal control standards and implement audit and regulatory action items • Complete other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Contract employment • Combined minimum of 12 years higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management, and/or architecture • Thorough understanding of the system development and infrastructure lifecycle and architecture, vendor best practices, IT Service Management, and systems design • Minimum 12 years advanced experience in a technical engineering position involving infrastructure design technologies, data management and interchange, system design and/or development for complex applications • Ability to translate complex business and functional requirements into structured high quality implementations using industry-standard approaches • Demonstrated ability to develop alternative solutions to complex problems and recommend the best solution • Advanced technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Verifiable industry and/or vendor expertise in relevant technologies • Ability to gather, document, and analyze system specifications and requirements • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment • Effective facilitation skills to elicit and review requirements from diverse stakeholders • Understanding of how people, processes, and technology interact to create feasible solutions on medium- to high-complexity projects • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Effective influencing skills • Process-oriented and logical thinker • Strong knowledge of server/client and virtual technologies • Ability to master complex tasks with minimal supervision • Experience with project estimation and budget/planning activities • Adaptable and able to learn quickly in a rapid-paced environment • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is preferred
