📋 Description

• Lead the design and long-term maintenance of OpenCV- and image-based automation frameworks for revenue cycle management workflows • Architect robust automations for legacy desktop, thick-client, and virtualized environments such as Citrix/RDP • Drive OCR and document-extraction pipelines for EOBs, remittance advice, correspondence, and payer documents • Own complex Selenium-based automation for payer portals and EHR web interfaces • Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks using Python, OpenCV, PyAutoGUI, and Selenium • Drive adoption and integration of AI/ML capabilities such as OCR, NLP, and predictive analytics • Own end-to-end integration with billing software, EHR systems, and healthcare web portals • Champion HIPAA and HITRUST compliance and establish engineering standards • Define documentation standards and ensure comprehensive technical documentation • Establish monitoring, alerting, and optimization practices for production reliability • Design resilient architectures bridging legacy desktop systems, virtualized environments, and modern platforms • Partner with SMEs, operations, and clinical stakeholders to automate complex manual workflows • Enforce secure credential handling, logging, and audit trails • Architect and govern Azure services supporting enterprise-scale automation • Mentor junior and mid-level software engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and technical guidance

🎯 Requirements

• Expert proficiency in Python programming, including advanced patterns, performance optimization, and production-grade software design • Deep, proven experience with OpenCV for image recognition, template matching, and document/image data extraction in production automation • Significant hands-on experience with image-based desktop automation libraries such as PyAutoGUI • Proven experience with Selenium for complex browser-based automation • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare RCM workflows, including billing, coding, claims, and denial management • Deep knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, and healthcare security best practices • Exceptional analytical, debugging, and documentation skills • Ability to communicate technical decisions to non-technical audiences • Proficiency with version control tools and branching strategies such as Git • 5+ years of professional software development experience, focused on Python automation and computer vision-based RPA • Ability to operate as a senior contributor from the start of contract engagement with minimal ramp-up time • Ability to decompose complex problems, define solution architectures, and guide teams to delivery • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • Advanced experience with OCR engines such as Tesseract and PaddleOCR or cloud document-intelligence services • Experience architecting automations inside Citrix, RDP, or other virtualized/remote environments • Extensive experience applying AI/ML tools such as NLP and predictive modeling to production automation • Extensive experience leading automation of healthcare revenue cycle workflows, including eligibility, claims processing, payments, and denials management • Expert-level experience designing and integrating with third-party healthcare software ecosystems, including EHR/EMR systems, billing platforms, and web portals • Strong familiarity with EHR/billing systems and healthcare web portals at an architectural level • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, App Services, and Azure DevOps • Advanced knowledge of logging, alerting, and observability tools
