📋 Description

• Develop and lead the Company’s Compliance and Ethics Program • Create an annual compliance work plan, enterprise-wide compliance calendar, and Compliance and Ethics Committee • Oversee compliance risk assessment and monitoring programs • Conduct compliance reviews and cultural surveys across high-risk areas • Manage the Compliance Hotline, including intake, triage, referrals, investigations, and resolution • Lead and oversee investigations into alleged violations of laws, regulations, and Company policies • Develop, implement, and track corrective actions and remediation plans • Identify compliance gaps and report findings to the General Counsel and executive leadership • Build cross-functional relationships to coordinate risk, compliance, and ethics activities • Develop policies and reporting mechanisms that encourage reporting of suspected non-compliance • Develop and deliver compliance training, education, and awareness campaigns • Monitor the regulatory landscape in education technology and curriculum compliance • Prepare compliance reports and presentations for leadership, Board members, and investors • Manage and develop Compliance and Ethics team members

🎯 Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of compliance and ethics frameworks, including regulatory requirements applicable to education technology, curriculum development, and relevant federal and state laws and regulations • Ability to design, implement, and mature enterprise-wide compliance programs, including risk assessment methodologies, investigation protocols, monitoring systems, and corrective action tracking • Strong investigative skills and experience conducting or overseeing complex compliance investigations • Proven people leadership and team development capability • Ability to work cross-functionally with legal, operational, and business leaders • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable guidance and training • Strong data analytics orientation, including case management data, trend analysis, and root cause analysis • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in sensitive investigations and compliance matters • Bachelor’s degree required • Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) required or expected to be obtained within 12 months of hire • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive compliance, ethics, legal, or regulatory experience • At least 3–5 years in a leadership or program management role overseeing a compliance function • Experience designing and operationalizing enterprise-wide compliance programs • Experience in education technology or a highly regulated industry preferred • Experience managing compliance investigations end-to-end, including hotline oversight, case management, root cause analysis, and reporting • Experience presenting to or preparing materials for executive leadership, boards of directors, and/or investors
