📋 Description

• Implement and oversee Cushman & Wakefield’s resilience and protection strategy across the Americas • Identify organizational security risks and develop mitigation controls, policies, procedures and guidance • Advise and support senior stakeholders on complex resilience, protection and crisis-management matters • Support the travel protection management program and partner organizations such as International SOS • Oversee protection controls for Category 1 locations and support the regional executive protection program • Implement regional performance-improvement initiatives • Manage regional crisis-management and resilience programs and adapt global policy for local operational use • Serve as a trusted advisor during crisis-management-team activations and hold a permanent position on regional crisis-management teams • Monitor new legislation and help operational businesses achieve legal compliance • Identify and assess emerging geopolitical organizational threats and support strategic risk mitigation • Implement regional templates, policies and support materials • Represent Cushman & Wakefield in client audits, meetings and presentations • Lead continuous improvement of resilience and protection management systems in alignment with applicable international standards • Coordinate ER&P resources and crisis-management planning and exercises across the region • Participate in incident crisis-management meetings when resilience or protection issues arise • Support the global EHS Team with regional templates, guidelines, tools and processes • Monitor, audit and report resilience and protection performance to regional leadership • Present at corporate meetings and steering groups to increase awareness and engagement • Manage regional training programs and evaluate their effectiveness • Align protection and terrorism-threat management strategy with regional best-practice guidance • Own global crisis-management processes and procedures and ensure stakeholder training and awareness • Own regional resilience-management templates and procedures and ensure stakeholder training and awareness • Provide technical advice, training and procedure-testing support to senior regional managers • Monitor regional legislation and best practices to maintain compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Educated to diploma or degree level in Resilience & Protection or an equivalent discipline • Demonstrable experience developing, implementing and refining Resilience & Protection management models aligned with international standards • Detailed knowledge of ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) • Detailed knowledge and practical application of protection in facilities and property management • Experience managing manned guarding, CCTV and access control systems; Genetec experience • Well-versed in OSHA CFR 1910 and 1926 standards • Knowledge of OSH Canadian Law across provinces • Experience in a multi-site corporate facilities, retail, property or service delivery environment preferable • Proven track record working independently to influence senior stakeholders • Experience developing successful stakeholder relationships • Willingness and ability to travel • Competence using Microsoft Teams, video conferencing and other IT engagement tools • Proven experience developing and implementing cross-border Resilience & Protection initiatives • Relationship and stakeholder management, influencing, commercial awareness and pragmatic problem-solving skills • Ability to operate at a senior level with senior executive stakeholders • Ability to manage major incidents and advise executive team members during protection-related incidents • Ability to respond to complex inquiries, solve complex problems and provide innovative solutions • Excellent presentation skills • Exceptional time management and ability to work under pressure • Fluent in English • Full, clean driving license • Spanish and Portuguese language skills are a plus
