📋 Description

• Lead and directly supervise 8 to 11 Enterprise Absence Management Case Managers • Select, recognize, coach, and conduct performance assessments for team members • Provide guidance and coaching on complex and sensitive FMLA, State, and Company leave cases • Support the Sr. Manager in delivering an empathetic, colleague-centric absence management model • Partner with Quality Assurance Specialists and Trainers to improve training curricula • Track team productivity and performance through reporting • Monitor workload and coordinate case management queues using the myLeave system • Ensure compliance with leave communications, medical documentation, leave exhaustion, and case management • Resolve Tier II case management escalations within service level agreements • Recommend programs and practices to improve productivity, reduce costs, and maintain or exceed service levels • Assist Case Managers with escalated issues and proactively raise matters to management • Review and process return-from-leave transactions accurately and timely • Review and process leave-date and status corrections in Workday • Model and foster Heart at Work behaviors • Assist with processing separations related to resignation, retirement, and failure to return from leave • Escalate myLeave system issues to the vendor for investigation • Collaborate with Case Managers and the Sr. Manager on high-level leave issues with colleagues, leaders, and HRBPs • Help manage workload and staffing and anticipate workload changes to maintain consistent colleague service

🎯 Requirements

• Positive attitude, especially in the face of adversity • At least 3 years of experience in FMLA, State leaves, and Disability • Experience coaching a team in a professional or volunteer role • High School Diploma/GED required • Bachelor's Degree preferred • Ability to supervise 8 to 11 Case Managers • Knowledge of federal, state, and company leave policies • Experience or ability to use myLeave and Workday systems • Ability to manage high-volume leave cases and Tier II escalations within service level agreements
