📋 Description

• Make inbound and outbound calls throughout the working day to members and providers • Help members obtain healthcare visits, screenings, vaccinations, and medication refills • Work through barriers affecting members’ health • Deliver professional and empathetic member interactions • Educate members to support informed health decisions • Document conversations accurately in members’ health records • Explain benefits for specific screenings and medications • Assist members and providers with health services, medications, and resources to improve Star health outcomes • Escalate issues for resolution when needed • Meet business metrics and goals

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. • Advanced experience with Windows-based applications • 6 months call center experience • High computer literacy, including ability to troubleshoot issues • Strong active listening and interpersonal skills • Hard wired connectivity required; DSL, satellite and wireless broadband are not permitted • Reliable high-speed internet connection (100–200 Mbps and above) • Suitable remote workspace • Professional communication skills • Ability to work independently, apply critical thinking, multitask, prioritize, adapt to a fast-paced changing environment, and maintain professionalism • Ability to absorb and apply new and changing information • Bilingual or multilingual candidates preferred • Experience with pharmacy terms preferred • Experience with behavior change preferred • Experience with call center or outreach involving members/consumers preferred • 3+ years’ experience in a healthcare setting preferred • Medical certification preferred
