📋 Description

• Lead multiple complex programs and projects from ideation through implementation and value realization • Evaluate processes, workflows, and operating models for sustainable improvement, simplification, automation, and risk reduction • Drive innovative solutions using DMAIC, Lean, Six Sigma, and project management methodologies • Develop future-state processes, governance models, and scalable operating frameworks • Create and maintain project and program plans covering scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, resources, and success metrics • Manage business cases, resource planning, timelines, and financial tracking • Monitor performance, address roadblocks, and establish governance, reporting, and leadership communications • Lead change efforts and stakeholder engagement across operations, quality, compliance, training, technology, and business partners • Facilitate root cause analyses and solution design sessions • Analyze operational, quality, and customer experience data and develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics • Translate data into insights and recommendations for leadership and monitor KPIs • Identify execution gaps and process breakdowns and implement corrective actions • Support operational readiness for new processes, tools, and business changes • Coordinate time-sensitive operational needs during high-volume periods • Mentor project leads and business partners and share project management best practices • Lead cross-functional teams without direct authority while driving accountability and results • Build partnerships across business, operations, technology, compliance, quality, and customer experience functions

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare, managed care, health insurance, operations, or related industries • 3+ years of experience leading complex projects, programs, or business transformation initiatives • Demonstrated experience using project management methodologies to deliver measurable business outcomes • Experience with DMAIC, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement frameworks • Strong knowledge of Commercial or Medicare service operations • Experience identifying root causes, challenging processes, and implementing sustainable solutions • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills • Ability to manage ambiguity and navigate complex organizational environments • Proficiency with reporting, analytics, and data visualization tools • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, QuickBase, and collaboration tools such as Teams • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience • PMP certification preferred • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent continuous improvement certification preferred • Experience with enterprise-wide or highly complex business transformation and operational performance improvement preferred • Knowledge of Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid healthcare operations, claims processing, customer service operations, quality, or related functions preferred • Experience with customer interaction review, service issue remediation, operational quality analysis, and readiness planning preferred • Experience with root cause analyses, process redesign, and workflow mapping preferred • Experience supporting high-volume or seasonal operational initiatives preferred • Experience with QuickBase development, workflow automation, business reporting, or project portfolio management tools preferred
