📋 Description

• Serve as the single point of contact for new Epic project and enhancement requests • Manage the intake queue/ticketing system and ensure requests contain business justification, scope, impacted workflows, and requested timeline • Triage and prioritize incoming requests with Epic application managers and governance committees • Route requests to the correct Epic team based on module and complexity • Maintain and report on intake metrics, including volume, turnaround time, backlog aging, and approval/denial rates • Coordinate intake governance meetings, prepare agendas, and track decisions and action items • Partner with project management to hand off approved requests into active project status • Track request status and provide regular updates to requestors and leadership • Identify request trends to inform roadmap planning and capacity forecasting • Maintain intake documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures • Support continuous improvement of the intake process, including tooling

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in healthcare IT, project coordination, or Epic-related support • Familiarity with Epic application structure and terminology, including module names, build lifecycle, and governance concepts • Strong organizational skills with experience managing queues, tickets, or intake pipelines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with clinical and technical stakeholders • Proficiency with ticketing/project management tools such as ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Planview, Jira, or similar • Epic certification(s) or prior Epic build/analyst experience preferred • Experience supporting IT governance or demand management processes preferred • Background in a hospital, health system, or ACO/population health IT environment preferred • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through • Able to balance competing priorities from multiple stakeholder groups • Comfortable asking clarifying questions to properly scope ambiguous requests • Diplomatic communication skills • Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered in accordance with all federal, state and local laws
