📋 Description

• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate options to facilitate appropriate healthcare services and benefits for members • Gather clinical information and apply clinical criteria, guidelines, policies, procedures, and judgment to render coverage determinations or recommendations • Communicate with providers and other parties to facilitate care and treatment • Identify members for referral opportunities integrating other products, services, and programs • Identify opportunities to promote healthcare service quality, effectiveness, and benefit utilization • Consult with and provide expertise to internal and external constituents in coordinating and administering utilization and benefit management • Work from home Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 0800 to 1700 EST with a one-hour lunch

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an RN • Active and unrestricted RN licensure in state of residence • Able to work in multiple IT platforms/systems • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel) • Associates Degree in Nursing required • Direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 7 feet of computer • Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload • WiFi and satellite internet are not permitted • Quiet, secure, private designated home virtual work location compliant with CVS Health and HIPAA guidelines • Must work within the state and city where currently residing • Must provide own workspace furniture • Must obtain required internet speeds and adhere to Work From Home requirements if hired • Comfortable setting up and using multiple monitors and navigating multiple applications simultaneously • Ability to communicate through email, calendar invites, Teams messaging, and virtual meetings • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 or similar applications such as Google Workspace • Ability to log in to secure systems such as VPN and EHR portals • Ability to follow computer security practices, manage strong passwords, and recognize suspicious emails or links • Ability to resolve common technical issues independently and contact IT when needed • Openness to learning new skills • Preferred: Prior authorization/utilization management experience • Preferred: Outpatient clinical experience • Preferred: Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid • Preferred: Managed care experience • Preferred: 2 years med surg experience • BSN preferred
