📋 Description

• Position Microbiology solutions into hospitals and reference laboratories • Anticipate customer needs and execute sales strategies • Drive growth through footprint expansion and retention and growth of base business • Call on accounts in the sales territory and prioritize activities during active sales cycles • Implement sales plans to achieve established sales and financial goals • Work remotely from a home office and work with customers in the field • Link Microbiology solutions to customers’ technical, financial, and business needs • Leverage Service, Applications, Field Product Specialists, Leadership, and Client Services resources to execute strategy • Report to the Regional Sales Manager, Microbiology

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in field with 5+ years sales experience selling capital equipment into the hospital or laboratory OR Master's degree in field with 2+ years expertise in field OR Doctoral degree in field with 0+ years experience • Bachelor’s Degree Required, preferably in science or business • Excellent time and territory management habits • Strong follow-up and follow-through skills • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately conduct a technical presentation • Program and sales management skills • Highly organized, motivated, and success driven within a team environment • Willingness to travel 50%–75% • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to ##lb • Direct experience selling to or working as a laboratory technologist in clinical microbiology is a plus • Salesforce knowledge helpful
