📋 Description

• Identify and vet specialty physicians (All specialties, including Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurologists, PM&R, etc.), ensuring full state coverage in California. • Maintain working knowledge of physician networks and recruitment processes. • Collaborate with healthcare and insurance organizations to streamline recruitment efforts. • Utilize computer platforms to analyze network gaps and optimize recruitment efficiency. • Manage relationships with high-level medical specialists for recruitment initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. • Physician recruitment experience in a Healthcare/Insurance setting or equivalent transferable skill set. • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred. • Working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and terminology. • Strong negotiation skills, critical thinking, organizational skills, ability to manage time efficiently, and to meet specific deadlines. • Computer literacy and typing skills required. • 3+ years in Physician Recruitment, specifically within the IME, Workers' Comp, or Medicolegal space. • 2-5 years in healthcare recruitment, provider relations, or medical-legal services. • Familiarity with the California DWC, the QME/AME process, and the Medical-Legal Fee Schedule. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, "cold-calling" and pitching skills; ability to speak the language of high-level medical specialists. • Ability to use computer platforms and data to analyze network gaps and doctor fee trends.
