📋 Description

• Guide strategic customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks on Azure, from architectural design to production deployment • Architect and scale compute and networking infrastructure for AI workloads, enterprise LLM deployments, and high-performance GenAI applications • Serve as a subject matter expert in Azure infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, cloud networking, and identity management • Drive technical wins in competitive scenarios through custom-built solutions • Orchestrate DSAs, SAs, SSAs, and partners to deliver solutions for complex customer needs • Influence product direction through structured feedback on customer requirements and competitive gaps • Serve as a trusted technical advisor guiding enterprise customers’ Databricks Platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, and AI deployment patterns • Position Databricks as the foundation of customers’ data and AI strategy

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or a senior hands-on technical role • Hands-on experience architecting cloud infrastructure for AI/ML execution, including GPUs/TPUs, model serving infrastructure, vectorized data retrieval, and cloud performance/cost optimization • Advanced expertise in Azure security, networking, deployments, platform administration, observability, cost management, and identity protocols • Hands-on automation using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM • Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL, including live coding, debugging, and solution building • Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture, scalable pipelines, streaming architectures, lakehouse patterns, and cloud-native data platforms • Proficiency on the Databricks Platform or ability to achieve proficiency rapidly • Technical specialization in an area such as real-time/streaming, ML/AI, data governance, or migrations • Ability to lead architecture discussions, whiteboarding, design reviews, and trade-off analysis • Track record of driving platform adoption and consumption growth within accounts • Excellent communication skills for translating complex architectures into business value • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience • Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed • Databricks certifications are nice to have • Microsoft Azure certifications are nice to have • Experience with Snowflake, AWS native services, or Azure Synapse is nice to have • Background in a data/AI company or cloud provider is nice to have
