📋 Description

• Handle complex L2 tickets as part of day-to-day operations • Perform in-depth troubleshooting at the application, system, and platform levels • Handle virtualization, HA, storage, firewall, VPN, performance, and stability incidents • Carry out complex migrations • Coordinate incidents, prioritize tickets, and derive concrete improvements from outages and disruptions • Further develop runbooks, escalation rules, minimum ticket data requirements, and support procedures • Provide technical coaching to L1/L2 colleagues • Review procedures and share knowledge • Coordinate the technical response during critical incidents

🎯 Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Linux and service stacks • Experience with web servers such as NGINX and Apache • Experience with PHP runtimes, databases, caching layers, and reverse proxies such as HAProxy and Traefik • Knowledge of typical hosting architectures, including application/database separation, replication, and clustering • Experience with virtualized environments, HA concepts, and storage technologies such as Proxmox, KVM, and Ceph, or equivalent technologies • In-depth troubleshooting at the application, system, and platform levels • Ability to consider dependencies and the impact on other systems • Ability to support colleagues’ professional development, establish standards, and improve ways of working • Good command of German • Good command of English for customer communication, documentation, and communication with vendors • Plus: Proxmox/Ceph specialization, IaC/Ansible, firewall/VPN/WAF experience, complex migration projects, and monitoring/observability expertise
