📋 Description

• Implement and sustain a LEAN approach to the traditional Express Service model at select Volvo dealerships • Serve as the subject matter expert on the LEAN service concept for Volvo dealers and OE Regional Management • Lead implementation at participating dealerships • Communicate program content, goals, and objectives to dealership management • Develop implementation action plans with Service Managers and meet agreed timelines • Work on-site with dealership management and service teams to support implementation and sustainment • Provide topic training to service teams and dealership management • Assist with equipment and shop layout decisions • Attend OE Regional Meetings to explain and support implementation • Provide support in North America and globally as required for the broader OEM project • Participate in safe-work practices and follow established procedures and policies

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required • Minimum 10 years of overall experience in two or three relevant roles • Dealership Technician experience with certifications preferred • Training experience; former Technical Trainer is a plus • Fixed Operations Consultant experience on behalf of an OEM or technology partner • Dealership Service Manager or management experience; 3 to 5 years specified • Service Advisor experience • 1–2 years of direct dealership consulting and/or training preferred • Leadership and management skills, including leading and motivating personnel without direct authority • Ability to leverage relationships and sell the business case for change • High proficiency analyzing dealer financial and operational assessment data • Ability to establish and implement metrics focused on growth, customer satisfaction, and ROI • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent project management skills • Solid understanding of the retail dealership industry, changing technology, and customer expectations • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proficiency with dealer management systems such as CDK and Reynolds • Proficiency with PC applications in a Windows environment • LEAN Management experience is a major advantage • Ability to work in a general office environment and perform extended computer-based work, including telephone use • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. of luggage • Willingness and ability to undertake up to 75% domestic travel • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available
