📋 Description

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to Engineering leadership • Own headcount planning, COGS and opex forecasting, and cost center management • Partner with Engineering leadership on capitalized software costs, infrastructure/cloud spend, and resourcing trade-offs • Develop and drive product-level P&Ls • Provide visibility into profitability, cost allocation, and margin drivers by product line • Define and monitor key operating metrics and connect them to financial outcomes • Surface trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership • Diagnose root-cause drivers behind margin performance and flag risks • Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range strategic planning across business units • Prepare materials for the Board of Directors, Investor Relations, and other financial stakeholders • Work cross-functionally with finance and engineering leaders to deliver actionable insights

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, ideally within a technology or SaaS company • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field • MBA or CPA a plus • Experience independently owning complex FP&A processes • Experience serving as a finance business partner to an engineering or technical organization • Experience with headcount planning, opex forecasting, and cost driver analysis • Exposure to corporate-level FP&A processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and Board reporting • Strong communication and presentation skills • Proficiency with NetSuite, Workday Adaptive Planning, and advanced Google Sheets modeling • Proficiency in SaaS business models and key metrics such as ARR, CAC, and margin structure • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities • Business judgment and curiosity • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States • Must disclose current citizenship/work/visa status • Individual-contributor role with no direct reports
