📋 Description

• Serve as the finance partner to a group of operating leaders and advise on decisions • Connect financial results to staffing, scheduling, capacity utilization, pricing, rate structure, service mix, and retention • Diagnose variances to operational root cause and recommend actions • Pressure-test growth initiatives, capital requests, and new service offerings • Build financial fluency among operators • Own the monthly and quarterly operating forecast for an assigned portfolio, including revenue drivers, labor, and controllable expense • Build and maintain driver-based models using volume, capacity, rate, and mix • Lead forecast review conversations and support annual budgeting and long-range planning • Build and improve recurring reporting and executive materials • Eliminate manual planning and reporting work through model design or AI-assisted workflows

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3 years in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, or a comparable analytical role • Advanced Excel and strong financial modeling skills • Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to create clear executive presentations • Ability to trace financial outcomes to operational decisions and explain them clearly to non-financial operators • Comfort working with imperfect data and exercising judgment about actionability • Curiosity about AI and automation, with a track record of self-teaching tools • Directness and willingness to provide opinions • Preferred: experience in multi-unit or multi-site operations such as retail, healthcare, hospitality, restaurants, or services • Preferred: exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar • Preferred: experience with Planful, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Vena, or another FP&A planning platform • Preferred: acquisition integration or reporting for newly acquired locations • Preferred: practical experience applying AI tools to finance or planning workflows
