📋 Description

• Provide best-in-class customer service to Diversified customers and manage customer satisfaction • Meet financial targets by managing operating expenses and maximizing revenue • Assist with quoting and approve labor estimates • Assign quoting support to Tech Ops staff • Lead, train, support, motivate, direct, and retain Tech Ops staff • Manage hiring, terminations, and compensation reviews for Tech Ops personnel • Develop Tech Ops strategies and assist with operating plans and departmental budgets • Establish departmental goals and objectives • Coordinate staffing requirements and personnel activities • Participate in developing, acquiring, and validating manufacturing, assembly, sourcing, procurement, and logistics processes • Coordinate service activities to ensure supported systems are included • Measure employee performance against standards • Approve timesheets and expense reports • Maintain project timelines and resource assignments • Participate in internal project meetings and sales-to-project handoffs • Travel as required • Ensure Quality Assurance compliance and understand software validation processes • Establish reporting structures, responsibilities, and authority • Provide monthly billing and revenue forecasts to accounting • Support sales teams to ensure customer service and financial success • Provide growth plans for operations and staff • Lead M&E, ESS, and Structured Cabling divisions • Build partnerships between sales and operations across AVE offices and specialties • Improve processes, standards, efficiency, and profitability • Own Tech Ops portions of P&L reports for the Mid Atlantic AVE • Review budgets and maximize resource utilization across Mid Atlantic specialties • Create and administer training programs • Collaborate across territories and divisions on cross-territory, hybrid-system, and multi-discipline projects • Conduct bi-weekly leadership meetings, resolve conflicts, and provide direction

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years leading operations functions including experience in high technology, electronics/AV focused manufacturing/integration environment, or IT • Experience with both in-house and outsourced AV manufacturing/integration • Two years leadership experience including P&L responsibility • Strategic thinker with strong planning skills • Strong business analysis skills combined with the ability to exercise sound judgement and initiative • Effective time and task management skills with the ability to translate those tools to others • Ability to work cooperatively with others in a leadership role to achieve departmental or organizational tasks/goals
