📋 Description

• Review lease abstractions against new lease agreements and lease modifications to ensure accurate classification and recognition under ASC 842 • Perform detailed accounting analysis of complex lease arrangements and unique scenarios • Document accounting conclusions and supporting analysis • Perform lease monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analysis • Own lease financial reporting deliverables, including cash flows, rollforwards, and disclosures • Partner with Real Estate, Lease Administration, and other cross-functional teams • Identify and lead process improvements and automation initiatives • Maintain lease SOX controls • Support internal and external audit requests

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field, and/or equivalent work experience • 6+ years accounting experience • In-depth experience applying US GAAP lease accounting (ASC 842) • Proven experience reviewing lease agreements • Experience interpreting lease terms and assessing their financial implications • Experience determining appropriate accounting treatment • Track record of managing multiple deliverables and following them through to completion on close timelines • Strong cross-functional partnership and communication skills • Close attention to detail • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
