📋 Description

• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of software upgrades with minimal business disruption • Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team across coding, testing, and deployment • Coordinate cross-functional teams for timely upgrade delivery • Serve as primary stakeholder contact for upgrade projects, providing updates and managing expectations • Analyze upgrade impacts using release notes and code changes • Debug custom and base code and provide workarounds or solutions to implementation teams and customers • Use Duck Creek upgrade tools to generate differential analyses and low-impact upgrade paths • Identify automation opportunities and develop utilities for faster, more effective upgrades • Manage tasks independently across multiple complex projects • Triage customer issues and present solutions • Review, mentor, and share knowledge with team members • Identify and communicate risks and develop mitigation strategies • Collaborate with customers on active delivery remediation work before upgrades • Develop and execute deployment strategies that minimize downtime and support smooth production transitions • Provide post-deployment support and troubleshooting • Analyze deployment outcomes and implement process improvements and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience in network administration, programming, or information systems • Minimum of 6 years’ professional experience in software development • Experience in customer-facing roles • Experience managing teams and direct-report performance • Deep understanding of the Duck Creek product suite and technical components • Demonstrated experience leading a team and managing employee performance • Deep professional experience with C#, SQL, Visual Studio, Microsoft Foundation technologies, Windows Server 2003/2008 administration and configuration, JavaScript, XSLT, XML, HTML, CSS, and AJAX • Deep professional experience with .NET solutions, SQL, and relational database design • Experience with XML and XSL • Experience leveraging generative AI and AI-powered development tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot • Ability to evaluate, implement, and govern AI-driven automation while maintaining security, quality, and compliance standards • Experience or knowledge of P&C insurance software applications • Experience or knowledge of the software development lifecycle for P&C insurance software • Experience with systems integration across policy, billing, claims, reinsurance, and third-party systems • Experience implementing Duck Creek Example Platform solutions for Policy Administration, Billing, and/or ASW Claims preferred • Effective verbal and written communication • Ability to work effectively in teams and build positive relationships • Ability to analyze complex situations and generate creative solutions • Willingness to accept responsibility and achieve meaningful outcomes • Ability to adapt to change, learn quickly, and embrace new technologies • Travel requirement of 0–25% • Legally authorized to work in the country of the job location
