📋 Description

• Serve as the primary administrator for Workday Security • Manage role-based security, user provisioning, authentication, permissions, and identity access • Align Workday configurations with organizational policies and security best practices • Administer user access across enterprise systems • Maintain permissions and manage account provisioning and deprovisioning • Enforce least-privilege access • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Meraki, Trend Micro EDR/XDR, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPNs, firewalls, local Active Directory domains, and other enterprise systems • Monitor security alerts and investigate suspicious activity • Respond to security incidents and support threat detection and mitigation • Conduct and support risk assessments and vulnerability management • Support disaster recovery planning and backup processes • Maintain security documentation and support regulatory compliance initiatives • Assist with internal and external audits • Partner with application owners, system administrators, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders • Strengthen security configurations and improve enterprise security practices • Support system implementations and ongoing security posture improvements • Contribute to training and emerging technology adoption • Mentor team members and contribute to cross-functional initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a 2-year associate’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a closely related field • 4+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise cybersecurity technologies • 2+ years of direct Workday administration and security experience • Experience with Workday configuration, role-based access control, provisioning, and integration management • Strong hands-on experience with Workday integrations, cloud platforms, security tools, and enterprise applications • Experience administering and securing Workday, including EIB, Core Connect, APIs, and Workday Studio • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra, Microsoft Defender, SIEM, firewalls, EDR/XDR, and other network security technologies • Ability to quickly identify threats, investigate incidents, and implement mitigation strategies • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and incidents in a fast-paced environment • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold security policies • Professional certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CISM, CISA, CEH, GSEC, Microsoft Security/Compliance/Identity, and Workday Certification are nice to have • Candidates located in Pennsylvania or New York cannot be hired • Typically available 8 AM–5 PM CST
