📋 Description

• Manage day-to-day workload to achieve business objectives and execute team goals • Provide leadership, direction, and assistance on work processes and procedures • Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational updates and escalations • Handle direct customer-facing engagement as needed • Ensure employees are trained in processes and procedures • Provide ongoing coaching and development feedback • Conduct coaching conversations and formal performance evaluations • Collaborate with departmental and cross-functional teams to establish goals and monitor progress • Identify and address system or process gaps • Identify trends, determine root causes, and initiate corrective action • Document and report system and process problems and implement solutions • Conduct random audits and create performance improvement plans as necessary • Develop and implement short- and long-term service objectives when approved • Respond to escalated issues from clients and customers • Represent the department on corporate projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree where required • 5+ years of experience in a related field • In lieu of a degree, 7+ years of experience in a related field • Prior Federal Employee Program (FEP) experience strongly preferred • 2–3 years of people leadership or team lead experience preferred • Claims operations experience desirable • Authorization to work in the United States • Ability to work in one of the approved states listed in the posting
