📋 Description

• Develop, deploy, and maintain websites and web-based applications within NASA’s Earth Science Division • Work primarily with PHP, Drupal, and WordPress • Develop engagement-focused websites and knowledge management tools • Collaborate with developers, designers, content producers, project managers, and customer stakeholders • Support cross-functional delivery teams • Deliver experiences for internal and external audiences that inform and create awareness of NASA Earth Science Division knowledge and information • Conduct self-directed application development efforts and contribute to larger team projects • Work primarily on an Eastern time schedule as part of a distributed virtual team

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or web design/development, or comparable work experience • 5+ years of experience deploying commercial or government websites and secure web applications/content management systems • Drupal 10/11 maintenance and development, including custom module development • Experience with fundamental web technologies • Experience using version control systems, including Git • Ability to write maintainable and scalable code • Ability to take direction and work in a self-directed environment as an effective team member • Interest in supporting NASA’s communication and research goals • U.S. Citizenship required • Applicants must submit a code sample or personal GitHub (or similar) link
