📋 Description

• Process and apply customer payments promptly and accurately, including checks, electronic transfers, and credit card transactions • Prepare and distribute customer invoices and monthly account statements • Monitor accounts for past-due balances and follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments via phone, email, and written correspondence • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and billing inquiries • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records, including customer contact information and payment history • Prepare and post journal entries related to accounts receivable • Assist with month-end closing procedures, including reconciling accounts receivable balances • Generate and analyze accounts receivable aging reports • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer billing issues • Assist with internal and external audits as needed • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Associate's degree in accounting or a related field preferred • Two to three years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis) • Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes • Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including communicating effectively with customers and internal stakeholders • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy • Experience with hospitality/real estate development industry preferred • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred
