📋 Description

• Initiate and manage landowner relationships to secure long-term land agreements for renewable project development • Obtain executed land leases, land purchases, collection and transmission line easements, access road easements, title curative instruments, and crossing agreements • Implement land acquisition campaigns with regional teams • Identify landowners, initiate contact, conduct meetings, articulate the company’s value proposition, and negotiate contracts • Provide project-priority updates and submit weekly status reports • Conduct stakeholder meetings and presentations • Maintain stakeholder relationships throughout land acquisition and development • Follow corporate land acquisition policies • Support Community Relations teams with landowner communications, update calls and letters, newsletters, and project meetings • Forecast and report on land acquisition budgets • Travel to landowners’ and internal customers’ sites, conferences, and meetings

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of land acquisition experience • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred • RL, RPL, or CPL through American Association of Professional Landmen preferred • Local Notary license preferred, or ability to obtain one • Proven sales, account acquisition, and account management experience • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software • Excellent verbal, written communication, and public speaking skills • Contract drafting experience • Working knowledge of land, legal, and negotiation principles • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to travel 75% or more of work time • Must live in the West Region: California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, or Texas
