📋 Description

• Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five (5) or more hours per day, every scheduled instructional day • Create an engaging and structured virtual classroom experience • Use student performance data to personalize instruction, identify learning gaps, and adapt teaching • Provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work • Maintain accurate records to keep students and families informed and on track • Build relationships with students and families through proactive communication • Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality student support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field • Active Ohio state teaching license in Biology for grades 6–12 • Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings • Comfortable with the demands of a live online classroom • Able to teach live on camera for five (5) or more consecutive hours every instructional day • Hands-on experience with online learning platforms, virtual instruction tools, and standard productivity software • Ability to read student performance data and adjust live instruction • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Highly organized and self-directed, with time management skills to manage a full student caseload remotely • Commitment to professional growth, maintaining certification, and staying current on K–12 curriculum, technology, and best practices • Willingness to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs
