📋 Description

• Deliver rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for elementary students • Personalize learning and differentiate instruction based on each student’s mastery level • Augment course content using appropriate asynchronous and synchronous tools under principal and coach guidance • Maintain the grade book and ensure student academic integrity • Make student placement and promotion decisions • Monitor student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system • Alert administrators to concerns about student performance and progress • Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests • Establish and maintain positive rapport with families • Communicate with and respond to students and learning coaches/parents in a timely manner • Support learning coaches/parents with curricular, instructional, and basic virtual-classroom troubleshooting issues • Collaborate with teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic student-data representations and use them for instructional decisions • Travel as required for professional development, student testing, and school functions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • Active state teaching license • Missouri Elementary PE Teaching Certification, or appropriate elementary certification in another state with ability to obtain Missouri licensure within 60 days of employment • Ability to clear required background check • Must reside in Missouri; surrounding-state candidates may be considered • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-free home office during the workday • Experience working with the proposed age group preferred • Experience supporting adults and children with technology preferred • Experience teaching in online/virtual and/or brick-and-mortar environments preferred • Experience with online learning platforms preferred • Ability to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic student-data representations • Ability to receive regular coaching from administrators and teacher trainers • Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms • Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in K12 systems, programs, and curriculum
