📋 Description

• Lead and participate in code reviews and share knowledge • Ship AI-powered feature improvements to production • Partner with Product and UX to scope and design new capabilities • Lead and coach a team of engineers • Participate in system design, development, and product maintenance • Lead a team of 3–5 engineers and improve team practices • Guide end-to-end feature delivery from design through deployment and production support • Shape technical direction for AI-native product experiences • Partner with the Product Manager and UX Designer • Measure value delivered and improvements to patient and physician experiences • Act as a player-coach and ship features hands-on • Align products with business strategy and commercial goals

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience • 2+ years of experience managing a team • Track record of leading high-performing teams that deliver high-quality software projects • Experience building APIs using modern backend technologies • Ability to communicate complex technical problems clearly to technical and non-technical partners • Enthusiasm and interest in building systems using AI and large language models • Role open to candidates in the US, Canada, and New Zealand • Valued but not required: experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, AI/LLM systems, Python, MySQL, AWS or other cloud providers, DevOps/observability, and US healthcare/health tech
