📋 Description

• Respond to basic customer questions by telephone and written correspondence about pharmacy retail and mail order prescriptions • Develop and maintain positive customer relations • Coordinate with company functions to handle and resolve customer requests appropriately and promptly • Provide claims, customer service, and/or membership support to subscribers, providers, group or benefit administrators, physician offices, third-party representatives, and other Blue Cross Plans • Conduct research to provide proactive and thorough solutions • Own service requests through high-quality resolution and follow-through • Support and guide customers regarding personal options and decisions • Help customers become knowledgeable and confident in using available technology, tools, and resources

🎯 Requirements

• HS diploma or equivalent • Previous experience in an automated customer service environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Knowledge in healthcare, health insurance, or pharmacy strongly preferred • Experience in a call center environment strongly preferred • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Problem-solving skills • Facilitation skills • Analytical skills • Ability to work a shift between 5:50 AM and 9 PM Central time • Ability to work one or both weekend days as assigned • Ability to attend required in-person training sessions • Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from a posting location unless accommodation is granted as required by law • Certain patient/member-facing roles require vaccination against COVID-19 and Influenza
