📋 Description

• Follow established guidelines and contact groups to collect past due insurance premiums and/or past due health insurance claims • Research the validity of past due and/or disputed debt • Generate demand letters • Prepare reports reflecting the status of credit and collection activities for management review • Perform complex collection activities related to past due health insurance premiums and/or past due health insurance claims

🎯 Requirements

• H.S. diploma or equivalent • Minimum of 2 years of commercial debt collection experience • Or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background • Experience with NextGen and Waystar systems • Experience supporting Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurance accounts • Proven background in commercial insurance collections, claims follow-up, and denial resolution • Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management and payer reimbursement processes • Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s), unless accommodation is granted as required by law • Certain patient/member-facing roles require vaccination against COVID-19 and Influenza
