📋 Description

• Establish principles, standards, and operating rhythm for AI product design at Eliza • Establish reusable design systems and interaction patterns for consistent, production-ready AI experiences • Create design playbooks, templates, and review practices to accelerate validated, high-quality interfaces • Lead user discovery, workflow research, concept testing, and usability testing with client stakeholders and end users • Synthesize research into user needs, opportunity areas, journey maps, and product recommendations • Translate ambiguous business and technical problems into focused product and UX direction • Design end-to-end experiences for AI-enabled products, from concepts and workflows to high-fidelity interfaces • Create interaction patterns that provide transparency, control, feedback, and confidence in AI outputs • Produce flows, wireframes, prototypes, visual systems, and implementation-ready specifications • Partner with AI Product Managers and Forward Deployed Engineers throughout delivery • Translate complex AI-system capabilities and constraints into SDK-informed interface standards • Participate in client-facing working sessions and present design rationale and tradeoffs • Test prototypes and in-progress builds, identify usability issues, and guide improvements • Balance advisory work across multiple engagements with deep ownership of priority projects • Use AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, ideation, prototyping, testing, and production

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design, UX design, service design, or a closely related discipline • Demonstrated experience owning end-to-end product design—from research and problem framing through prototyping, testing, and polished UI delivery • Strong user-research capability, including interviews, concept validation, and usability testing • Excellent product judgment in ambiguous environments • Portfolio showing thoughtful interaction design, visual craft, and ability to simplify complex workflows • Experience working closely with product managers and engineers to ship real products • Strong client-facing communication skills, including facilitating working sessions and presenting to senior stakeholders • Comfort managing several concurrent workstreams without compromising quality • AI-native working style and practical understanding of how modern AI systems shape product experiences • Experience designing AI-enabled, data-heavy, enterprise, or workflow products • Familiarity with practical constraints of LLMs, agents, automation, and human-in-the-loop systems • Experience in consulting, professional services, or other client-delivery environments • Experience designing for complex or regulated industries • Experience building or contributing to design systems, reusable interaction patterns, or product-design playbooks
