📋 Description

• Review and process mail audit documents to produce final audit invoices in accordance with manual rules, state regulations, and company standards and procedures • Examine and process policyholder mail audit documents to accurately calculate earned premium • Apply premium audit rules and classifications to calculate exposures and premiums • Communicate renewal endorsements as appropriate • Complete incoming work within company standards for quality, timeliness, and productivity • Build and maintain relationships with agents and insureds by answering audit questions, communicating audit results, and facilitating audit disputes • Correspond with underwriting, claims, and fraud departments as necessary • Develop working knowledge of manual rules, state regulations, and company standards and procedures • Provide administrative support to the Field Audit Team according to departmental SOPs • Investigate and resolve disputes and differences in payroll and classification data • Escalate issues to the Manager as needed

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency • Two years of experience in commercial lines underwriting support, accounting, or related experience • Senior-level alternative: four years of premium audit assistant experience or related experience • Associate in Premium Audit (APA) designation preferred for the Senior Premium Audit Assistant level • Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills • Ability to file alphabetic information accurately • Good proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel • Knowledge of insurance terminology and classification codes preferred • Knowledge of underwriting and rating preferred • Good verbal and written communication skills • Excellent organizational and customer service skills • Strong problem-solving skills and good math aptitude
