• Maintain the project Change Order Log and update project leadership on potential cost impacts • Develop cost estimates for change orders and provide client backup using electronic takeoffs and markups • Work with ConEst Estimating Software • Meet with engineers, customers, vendors, and Project Managers • Visually inspect project locations to determine required labor and materials • Contact vendors for pricing • Assess equipment leasing costs • Maintain organized, standardized change order submissions and documents • Comply with company, client, and project policies • Coordinate staff and subcontractor activities • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address issues • Develop and maintain strong client and employee relationships • Assist leadership with planning future project labor and material needs • Manage RFPs and Change Management Forms • Mentor subordinates to support their development • Report directly to a Project Manager on change management for a large-scale data center construction project
• 6-8 years of experience with a High School Diploma, 4-6 years of experience with an Associate degree, or 0-2 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree • Strong computer & Microsfot Suite skills • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Low Voltage Systems • Read and evaluate specifications and blueprints • Deal effectively with customers • Analyze risks involved with certain project types • Estimate large and small projects • Work calmly under deadlines and external pressure • Excellent math skills • Strong communication skills • Mission Critical Project experience preferred • Hands-on construction experience preferred • Journeyman or Master Electrician’s License preferred
