📋 Description

• Provide legal counsel on healthcare regulatory, compliance, operational, and corporate matters • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, and business transactions • Advise leadership on legal risks and develop practical, business-focused solutions • Support compliance with federal and state healthcare laws and regulations • Assist with governance, policy development, investigations, and dispute resolution • Monitor and interpret legal and regulatory developments impacting healthcare operations • Collaborate with leaders throughout the organization to support business objectives and ensure legal compliance • Report to senior leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school • Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction • Florida Bar membership preferred, or eligibility to obtain Florida Authorized House Counsel status • Significant experience practicing healthcare law, preferably within a health system, hospice, home health, post-acute care, or other highly regulated healthcare environment • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory, compliance, contracting, and corporate legal matters • Exceptional communication, negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Ability to travel 4–6 times annually as needed
