📋 Description

• Design and develop moderately complex automated test scripts • Execute automated test cases and report results • Independently identify, document, and track software defects to resolution using tools such as JIRA • Document test cases, test results, and defects clearly and concisely • Collaborate with software engineering and cross-functional teams to understand application functionality and testing requirements • Maintain and update existing automated test scripts to reflect application changes and enhancements • Follow and recommend automation best practices • Provide guidance to associate automation quality engineers • Perform manual testing when needed

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years overall testing experience with 2-3 years automation testing experience or equivalent automation training • Proficiency in Python programming language (core concepts) • Strong understanding and experience with requirements analysis • Strong experience with automation testing tools such as Collibra DQ, Karate, JUnit, and TestNG, plus debugging skills • Experience using version control systems such as Git • Knowledge of BDD frameworks • Hands-on experience with SQL and database testing • Experience using JIRA or similar management tools • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including analyzing test results and identifying issues • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred • Proficiency in design and estimation techniques is highly desirable • Strong communication and teamwork skills preferred • Knowledge of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins is a plus • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies desired • Experience in UI/API functional testing is helpful • AWS or Python certification • Experience creating unit testing frameworks using Python • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; no employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and suitable home workspace required for remote work
