📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend data pipelines and ETL solutions • Lead the design and development of significant software features or projects • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance • Design, build, and maintain backend data workflows using Python and SQL • Develop and optimize data processing solutions using AWS and Snowflake • Build scalable backend data processing solutions using SQL and ETL technologies, including SAP BODS • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes • Apply software development methodologies and best practices using version control, GitHub, Central Repository, Jenkins, and automated testing • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, product owners, and business partners to translate requirements into technical tasks • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with team standards and architectural guidelines • Troubleshoot and resolve data, performance, and reliability issues in lower and production environments • Participate in code reviews • Contribute to design and technical discussions by identifying risks and improvement opportunities • Continuously learn and adopt relevant data engineering and cloud platform tools and practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend or data engineering • Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning, with experience working with large datasets • Hands-on experience with AWS, Snowflake, SQL, ETL, Spark, Python, and SAP BODS • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated build, test, and deployment tools • Understanding of software development methodologies and best practices, including version control, GitHub, Jenkins, and automated testing • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments with cross-functional teams • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa sponsorship or takeover of sponsorship, including CPT/OPT • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and a suitable home workspace for remote work
