📋 Description

• Deliver successful implementations of Empyrean's Budgeting and Planning solution from project initiation through go-live • Translate clients' budgeting, forecasting, and planning objectives into sustainable implementation approaches • Configure planning models, driver-based assumptions, and forecast logic for financial planning areas • Ensure client planning and forecasting data is complete, reconciled, and reliable • Enable clients to produce budgets, forecasts, and variance reporting • Train clients to independently administer the solution and build reporting • Advise clients on data management, reporting, and financial planning and analysis best practices • Liaise between client users and Empyrean's product management team • Apply and improve AI-assisted tools and repeatable delivery processes • Safeguard sensitive customer data by following applicable policies and approved transmission channels • Perform other assigned duties as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent experience • Experience in banking, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, or financial technology • Solid understanding of the banking industry, accounting, and financial statements • Strong knowledge of Excel and experience working with large datasets • Strong attention to detail and planning and organization skills • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI • Comfortable following and improving structured processes • Demonstrated AI literacy in a professional environment • Sound judgment regarding AI use, including data-handling and confidentiality considerations • Preferred: Working knowledge of bank financial planning concepts, including net interest margin forecasting, non-interest income and expense modeling, and capital and payroll planning • Preferred: Understanding of a bank's balance sheet and loan payment calculations • Preferred: Familiarity with fixed-income cashflow calculation and fixed-income math • Preferred: Experience implementing planning or FP&A solutions at a financial institution • Preferred: Experience with financial data management, ETL tools, and Microsoft Power Query • Preferred: Knowledge of SQL or other data-analysis tools • Preferred: Prior consulting, implementation, or customer-success experience • Preferred: Experience building or improving repeatable, AI-assisted workflows
