📋 Description

• Lead the design and technical contribution to backup and recovery service roadmaps and architecture planning • Integrate emerging technologies including Public Cloud (IaaS, PaaS) and Infrastructure as Code • Own compliance and risk identification for the service • Define technical standards and perform peer review of major changes • Ensure reporting meets executive standards • Manage strategic relationships with backup and hardware vendors • Coordinate technical roadmaps and manage procurement/quoting processes for major infrastructure upgrades • Provide senior-level subject matter expertise and leadership • Mentor Band 1 and 2 specialists and drive knowledge-sharing initiatives • Act as the highest escalation point • Lead post-incident reviews and drive high-impact improvements based on lessons learned

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of deep, enterprise-level experience in backup, recovery, and continuity planning • Ideally exposure to multiple major vendor platforms • Proven experience contributing to or designing complex, highly available DR/B&R architectures • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage expectations and influence decision-making among senior business leaders and technical stakeholders • Demonstrated expertise in at least one Public Cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP • Exposure to automation tools, such as scripting and configuration management • Submit a CV and a brief cover letter detailing relevant Service Desk experience and English proficiency
