📋 Description

• Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery • Collaborate with suppliers, distribution centers, and customers to confirm shipping schedules and resolve issues • Manage and track shipment documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork • Serve as the main point of contact for freight carriers, brokers, and third-party logistics providers • Evaluate carrier performance and negotiate rates and service levels to optimize cost and delivery times • Resolve freight-related issues including delays, damages, and claims • Monitor and analyze delivery metrics to ensure on-time performance targets are consistently met or exceeded • Implement corrective actions and process improvements to address root causes of late deliveries • Maintain accurate records and reporting tools for shipping and delivery performance • Partner with warehouse, procurement, customer service, and production teams to align logistics plans with business needs • Support cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction • Ensure adherence to transportation regulations and company policies • Maintain proper records of shipments, carrier invoices, and freight audits

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 4+ years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment • Strong understanding of freight and carrier operations (LTL, FTL, international, etc.) • Proven track record in achieving or improving on-time delivery performance • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills • Proficient in logistics software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and MS Office Suite • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) • Knowledge of import/export regulations and Incoterms • Data-driven mindset with experience in logistics KPI reporting and analysis
