📋 Description

• Develop and implement the R&D deployment strategy for assigned areas • Manage one or more technical programs • Deliver technical and financial results for programs • Manage program-level succession strategies, staff hiring, performance management, and development planning • Identify qualified internal staff and contractor teams • Select contractors and frame statements of work • Direct team work to meet technical and financial milestones • Determine resource usage to meet schedules and goals • Provide guidance to staff within company policy • Potentially manage the program-level advisory structure • Present program activities to the Sector Council as needed • Translate research, industry best practices, and digital enablement solutions into scalable implementation guidance for diverse power generation portfolios

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in a technical field or equivalent experience required • Proven leadership and management capability overseeing an R&D Program • Experience with funding, spending, and workforce planning in a program area • Experience leading multiple staff, including goal setting and performance management • Proven people management experience, including recruitment, hiring, people development, and retention • Experience working directly with member advisors to ensure member engagement and guidance • High degree of technical credibility presenting program content, value, and research results • Working knowledge of Sector programs, strategy, and values • Ability to work without supervision • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Knowledge of power generation asset management, maintenance optimization, equipment reliability, balance-of-plant systems, and fleet-wide asset management strategies • Experience implementing Risk-Based Asset Management (RBAM), reliability-centered maintenance, life-cycle decision making, and aging/decommissioning asset strategies • Proficiency integrating CMMS, EAM, condition monitoring, and data analytics platforms
