📋 Description

• Own Equip’s patient-facing AI-powered experiences end to end, from opportunity framing and prototyping through safety review, phased launch, and ongoing iteration • Define and execute the roadmap for automated conversations and workflows helping people find, start, and stay in care • Ensure patient-facing AI reflects Equip’s clinical values and is measured by care quality and patient outcomes • Maintain end-to-end experience quality across AI touchpoints and determine where AI improves the experience versus where people should remain in the lead • Own patient lifecycle communications product strategy across Braze and AI agents, developing toward a Next Best Action model • Apply behavioral science principles to conversation design and flow • Define crisis detection, escalation paths, agent boundaries, and rapid human handoff for patient AI conversations • Partner with Operations to redesign workflows around AI and determine automation, human review, correction, and takeover processes • Establish pre-launch evaluation frameworks and live production monitoring • Collaborate with Clinical, Design, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Commercial teams to bring AI use cases safely into production • Engage patients and families through the advisory council for testing and co-design • Present AI product vision, risk assessments, and measurable outcomes to executive and clinical leadership • Manage vendors and contribute to cost optimization • Personally design and continuously tune system prompts, guardrails, and evaluation sets based on production performance • Drive organizational OKRs supporting accessible, evidence-based eating disorder treatment

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software product management experience, including dedicated experience shipping production conversational AI, LLM-powered agents, or automated customer- or patient-facing workflows • Experience defining product strategy, authoring comprehensive technical specifications, and managing full product lifecycles within an agile environment • Product taste and user experience judgment, with experience shaping cohesive, high-quality journeys across multiple touchpoints and knowing when not to automate • Experience collaborating with engineering teams on AI agent design, including tool use, orchestration of multi-step tasks, memory and context management, and grounding responses in trusted knowledge sources • Ability to weigh model and vendor trade-offs across quality, cost, latency, and build versus buy • Experience implementing and managing third-party agentic AI vendors or platforms in production • Experience designing agentic workflows for clinical and operational processes; healthcare experience strongly preferred • Experience designing safe escalation and human-in-the-loop experiences for sensitive or high-risk populations in regulated healthcare environments, including HIPAA compliance and PHI handling • Behavioral health experience strongly preferred • Experience defining product metrics connecting AI performance to user experience and operational outcomes • Hypothesis-driven product development experience, including A/B tests and phased rollouts • Ability to lead multidisciplinary initiatives and align technical, clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders • Ability to influence without formal authority, set standards for team excellence, drive best practices, and provide peer mentorship • Strong communication skills and ability to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences • Ability to remain composed and navigate ambiguity and competing constraints • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer • Must answer whether employment visa sponsorship is required
