📋 Description

• Plan, write, edit, and deliver proposal content responding to Federal solicitations • Interview and collaborate with technical subject matter experts to gather and translate technical information into compelling proposal content • Review, revise, and coordinate technical proposal content for accuracy, messaging, themes, and consistency • Coach SMEs and provide iterative guidance on writing assignments • Train new proposal team members on proposal writing and processes • Collaborate with Proposal Managers on kickoff materials • Participate in technical solution sessions and lead or support technical content development • Apply technical writing best practices to technical sections • Review proposal content and graphics for government compliance, win themes, strategy, format, and style • Improve writing processes and techniques • Collaborate with Graphic Designers to develop graphics, diagrams, and process visuals • Maintain and update corporate proposal-writing standards, style guides, and processes • Edit and proofread proposals for compliance, clarity, readability, accuracy, grammar, style, format, and responsiveness • Help meet page-count requirements • Apply eSimplicity brand messaging, tone, style, and themes • Identify reusable content for the proposal content repository • Support business development, pre-RFP activities including RFIs, and special projects such as writing guides and marketing case studies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, English, Communications, or a related field • 7+ years of relevant experience in solutioning session participation, technical content planning, strategy implementation, draft-to-final writing, and final editing on technical approaches to Federal procurements • Demonstrated experience writing technical content for prime Federal IT systems development opportunities greater than $30M • Experience writing modern, agile, cloud-based solutions for proposals • Ability to review, understand, and summarize RFP, RFI, and RFQ requirements • Successful writing and editing support for complex healthcare and/or defense proposals with Federal Government agencies • Experience working in a remote environment • Ability to create original content using interview and research techniques with technical SMEs • Ability to translate complex concepts and ideas into clear communications • Strong proposal writing and editing skills in Federal Government contracting • Strong knowledge of technical writing and editing best practices • Exceptional organizational and time management skills • Ability to develop multiple proposals simultaneously in a fast-paced environment • Ability to assimilate to large proposal teams with multiple partners and adjust styles as needed • Ability to take and give direction • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat • Exceptional communication, writing, editing, and proofreading skills • Passion to learn new ideas and concepts • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work • Ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines and changing priorities • Preferred: DoD and DHS experience • Preferred: Previous experience in project or product management or as a business analyst • Ability to work 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time
