📋 Description

• Validate ETL pipelines during the migration and merging of 30 disparate databases into a consolidated MySQL instance • Write complex SQL queries to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading from legacy SQL databases • Design and execute automated reconciliation scripts comparing millions of rows between source and target systems • Ensure data integrity, business rule alignment, and zero data loss or corruption during migration • Build and maintain automated test frameworks for data pipelines • Verify migrated data surfaced correctly through APIs and Data Access Layers alongside C# and Java developers • Identify, log, and troubleshoot data drift, truncation errors, mapping failures, and performance bottlenecks

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience writing advanced SQL queries • Advanced SQL expertise including joins, CTEs, window functions, and stored procedures • Experience with MySQL and SQL Server • Proven experience testing large-scale database consolidations, data warehouse migrations, or complex ETL pipelines • Hands-on experience building automated data validation scripts using Python, C#, or specialized data testing tools such as Great Expectations, dbt tests, or QuerySurge • Strong understanding of database schemas, primary/foreign key relationships, indexing, and data mapping documents • Ability to prove data equivalence through automated reconciliation rather than manual spot-checking • Nice to have: Familiarity with Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent API testing tools • Nice to have: Ability to read C# or Java code • Nice to have: Experience with Azure/AWS data services and CI/CD pipelines
